Outdoor Education

I discovered outdoor education after working as an English teacher in a summer camp in Austria in the summer of 2012.  I came to the Ardeche River in France in the Autumn of that year.  It’s a beautiful place where I met a group of wonderful people and learned a series of interesting skills that I used teaching the children all season.  Now I’m back for round two.

Our rule in outdoor education is safety first, fun second and education third.  It’s what we keep in mind as we take school groups in for a week at a time and try to impart some our love of the natural world into them.  Outdoor education.
